The Illini Real Estate Network is dedicated to the support of real estate education at the Champaign-Urbana campus.  Each year, we donate a majority of the funds raised through our events to the real estate and other university programs.

To ensure the continued success of the University of Illinois real estate program, the IREN is leading the fundraising efforts of establishing an endowment for the purpose of establishing a permanent chair within the Department of Finance.  The establishment of this position will help to combat the myriad of challenges currently facing our Alma Mater.  State budgetary cuts, closing of the Office of Real Estate Research, departure of faculty, and competition with other universities each create unique challenges that require the full support of each member of the IREN.
